WORK WITH US

PlayWell Productions is seeking to appoint two roles in support of the development of their latest show WITH COURAGE, celebrating the communities, lives and sacrifices of those who save lives at sea. You can read a little about the project here

 

COASTAL ENGAGEMENT ADVISOR

This place-based role will lead on identifying a coastal touring & engagement pathway for the show. 

 

Supported by PlayWell, they will work to:

  • Deliver an audience engagement plan & devise a strategy for coastal touring around community venues and theatres/arts venues.

  • Develop relationships with local councils who seek to improve cultural provision for & with coastal communities

  • Attend sharings along the South coast during the next R&D phase in order to gather feedback from audiences (sharings currently scheduled between Friday 8th and Saturday 16th September)

 

You will be:

  • Coastal based - ideally along the South coast of England

  • Experienced in engaging with local communities

  • Experienced in place-based evaluation and engagement research

  • Able to draw on existing connections with venues along the South coast

  • Happy to travel

  • A driver with access to a car (desirable but not essential - there is a travel budget) 

 

Fee: £4000

Duration: August to Feb 2024

ASSISTANT PRODUCER

This role will support PlayWell’s producer Steph Weller in the planning and delivery of a music R&D in Poole (4th-12th September) followed by additional sharing activity (currently scheduled 13th-16th September)

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Casting & contracting support

  • Venue liaison

  • Travel & accomm booking

  • General logistics

 

Fee: £175 per day for up to 10 days (days to be agreed)

Duration: August to October 2023
